Belarus: One day in life
Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus, is a landlocked country located in Eastern Europe that, until 1991, was part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Bordered in the north by Lithuania and Latvia, by the Russian Federation on the east side, by Ukraine towards the south and by Poland at its west side. Its capital is Minsk. Most of Belarus's population (nearly 10 million) live in urban areas surrounding Minsk and in the capitals of other provinces.
