Bordeaux Wine Festival
The Bordeaux Wine Festival is Bordeaux’s most important event which is held every two years during four days in the month of June/July. Held in Bordeaux’s city centre, it is a prominent event that invites hundreds of thousands of wine lovers from all over the world to sample the diverse range of quality wines the city of Bordeaux and the Aquitaine region has on offer – up to 80 appellations in total. As well as sampling the wine, the festival is highly informative in regards to Bordeaux’s thriving wine industry and focuses on all aspects of the wine trade from the vineyards to the wine bottles. Visitors are encouraged to participate in various interactive workshops that include wine tasting, aroma tests and games.
