Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is located on the island of Honshu and is the highest mountain in Japan. It lies about 100 kilometres south-west of Tokyo from where it can be seen on a clear day.
Mount Fuji is one of the best known symbols of Japan being frequently depicted in works of art and photography and visited by many climbers, sightseers and tourists.
