Cappadocia is a historical region of central Anatolia, Turkey, covering parts of the provinces of Kayseri, Aksaray, Nigde and Nevsehir. Cappadocia is characterized by a unique geological formation in the world and by its historical and cultural heritage. In 1985, it was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage.
