Pittsburgh is the second most populous city of the US state of Pennsylvania, after the city of Philadelphia. Pittsburgh is located in the southwest of the state, being the seat of Allegheny County. Pittsburgh is not a major tourist attraction. Most people visiting Pittsburgh do so because of business activities or because it is a convenient place to stop on long trips. Tourists usually find that this is a very friendly place with a clean modern environment and many recreational opportunities.
