Lake of Sainte-Croix

Lac de Sainte-Croix (English: Lake of Sainte-Croix) is a man-made lake in France completed in 1974 on the Verdon river for the construction of a dam that nowadays generates electricity for the country. The colour of water is attributed to a reaction between fluorine and microalgae present in the Verdon river.
