Cachoeira do Buracão

The wonderful Cachoeira do Buracão has an 85 metre-high waterfall that fills a pool at the bottom of a giant hole formed between the walls of a canyon. Hence the name Buracão (English: big hole). Located in the Chapada Diamantina, Ibicoara, Brazil, it was discovered in 2001 by a group of four female tourists.
