Humayun's Tomb in Delhi

Humayun's tomb is the oldest Mughal mausoleum in Delhi, India and one of the most extraordinary historical buildings of the city. It was the first of many great buildings of the Mughal period. The mausoleum was built by the widow of Humayun in 1569-70 in honor of her husband. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
