Ouarzazate: The door of the desert

Ouarzazate is a town in southern Morocco, popularly nicknamed The door of the desert. Some of the major tourist attractions of the city and the surrounding region include the numerous qasbah built of rammed earth as well as mountains and arid plains, valleys and oasis, palm trees and villages of ocher or red clay.
