Castle Cornet on Guernsey

Guernsey is one of the famous Channel Islands, the second in terms of size after Jersey. Guernsey's coast has several historical monuments on display for tourists, such as various castles and fortifications that have been built in recent years, especially the German fortifications of the 40s. Castle Cornet is a large island castle in Guernsey, and former tidal island, also known as Cornet Rock or Castle Rock, which has been part of one of the breakwaters of St Peter Port's harbour, the main one in the island, since 1859.
