Kavala

Located in northeastern Greece, Kavala is, after Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Macedonia and one of the main seaports in the area. Its commercial and economic importance through the ages is attributed to its strategic position on the ancient Via Egnatia road which passed through the city connecting the East with the West, as well as its port and also due to the natural fortification of the peninsula on which the old city was built. Kavala is joyful, musical and bright like all Greece. Rich in history, monuments and landscapes.
