Holy Island

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a tidal island on the northeast coast of England. At its highest point, a whinstone hill called Beblowe, sits the Lindisfarne Castle.

The Lindisfarne Castle served as the setting to several movies, including Roman Polanski's 1971 film, The Tragedy of Macbeth, in which it stands in for Glamis Castle.
