Stavropoleos Monastery

Stavropoleos Monastery is an Eastern Orthodox monastery for nuns located in Bucharest, Romania. It is dedicated to St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The word Stavropoleos comes from the Greek word Stauropolis that means "The city of the Cross".
