Monument to Ramón Llull

This a modern monument dedicated to the Catalan poet and mystic Ramón Llull, located at Montserrat monastery, Barcelona, Spain. The eight stages of the monument, in the form of a spiral, represent the eight stages of awareness (stone, flame, plant, animal, man, heaven, angels and God).
