The Marble Cathedral of Chile

The Marble Cathedral are water-sculpted blue caverns located in General Carrera lake in Patagonia, Chile. This natural and wonderful attraction is the result of the action of water that has undermined the stone for thousands of years. It consists in a few islets located just metres from the shore of the lake known as Marble Cathedral, Chapel of Marble and Marble Cave. It is possible to reach these formations by renting small boats from the town of Puerto Rio Tranquilo.
