The Glacier Express

The Glacier Express is a tourist train in Switzerland which, since 1930, connects two major mountain resorts of St. Moritz and Zermatt in the Swiss Alps.
The train offers passengers panorama cars with large windows to better appreciate the scenery of the route. Tourists receive headphones at the beginning of the trip, which plug into sockets in the seats to listen to audio with historical and descriptive information about the places travelled to along the journey. This information is available in six languages: German, English, French, Japanese, Mandarin and Italian.
