Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle (Schloss Neuschwanstein in German) is a German palace built in the second half of the 19th century, near the towns of Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria only a few dozen kilometers from the border with Austria.
Today, Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe given that it welcomes around 1.3 million visitors per year with as many as 6,000 per day during summer months.
