La Jonction in Geneva
The Rhône is an important European river. With a total length of 812 km, its headwaters lie in Switzerland ending its course in France where it flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It is the most torrential French River and the most important European river flowing into the Mediterranean.
The Arve is a river that flows through France and Switzerland and is a left tributary of the Rhône River. It receives water from the many glaciers of the Chamonix valley.
La Jonction in Geneva, Switzerland, is the place where both rivers join together creating a beautiful and unique natural phenomenon.
