Zhangye Danxia Landform

It's hard to believe that this set of mountains are actually real. But believe it or not, this landscape exists. These mountains are located at the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park in Gansu Province, China. All these colours are due to the constant deposits of minerals of different colours in the rock layers. The tectonic plates, winds and rain lead to the creation of all these magnificent forms which include natural pillars, ravines, valleys and waterfalls.
