Sơn Đoòng Cave

The Sơn Đoòng cave is a cave in Quang Binh province, Vietnam. It is located in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park. It was found by a local man named Hồ-Khanh in 1991 but only made known to the public in 2009, after a group of scientists from the British Cave Research Association explored Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng from 10-14 April, 2009. The biggest chamber of Sơn Đoòng is more than five kilometres long, 200 metres high and 150 metres wide.
