The Biggest Pool on Earth

The world's largest swimming pool, according to the Guinness Book of Records is located in the tourist resort San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo, Chile, about 90 kilometres from the capital. Besides its size, this pool is also characterized by the quality of its waters which resemble a tropical ocean colour. This is achieved by a pressurized oxygen system that allows to purify large amounts of water with a minimum amount of chemicals.
