The World’s Largest Cave - Hang Son Doong

Hang Son Doong ("Mountain River cave" in Vietnamese) is a cave in the province of Quang Binh, Vietnam. It is located in the Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park - UNESCO World Heritage site. Hang Son Doong, which is more than 5km long with sections that may reach 200 metres high and 150 metres wide, is considered the largest known cave in the world. In early August 2013, the first tourist group explored the cave on a guided tour at a cost of US$3,000 each.
