The viaduct of Millau is a cable-stayed bridge located in Aveyron, France. It is the highest bridge in the world with a maximum height of 343 metres over Tarn River. The bridge has been consistently ranked as one of the greatest engineering achievements of all time. The Millau Viaduct is to Aveyron that which the Eiffel Tower is to Paris.
