The Azadi Tower

The Azadi Tower, literally the Freedom Tower or Liberty Tower, is the most representative monument of the city of Tehran, Iran. A symbol of the country's modernization, the Azadi Tower has a truncated structure, causing a distinct sense of scale and perspective depending on the angle. Inside the tower, there is a small archaeological museum and a viewpoint that offers an unique view of the Iranian capital and the famous Azadi Square.
