Mount Teide is a volcano located on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). With an altitude of 3718m and about 7500m high from its base on the ocean floor, it is the highest peak of Spain and the Atlantic islands. It is also the third largest volcano in the world from its base.
