The Château d'Azay-le-Rideau (English: Castle of Azay-le-Rideau) is a castle of France located in the commune of Azay-le-Rideau in the Indre-et-Loire department. It was built between 1518 and 1527, being an example of the French Renaissance. Built on a small island in the Indre River, its structure rises directly from the river.
