Hallstatt

Hallstatt is a village in Salzkammergut, Austria. It is located near lake Hallstätter See. Hallstatt is historically known for its production of salt. In 1997 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the set called Cultural Landscape of Hallstatt-Dachstein Salzkammergut. It is a major tourist attraction in Austria.
